RN- EDUCATION COORDINATOR
About The Position
Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for a RN- Education Coordinator. The RN- Education Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of staff education programs for hospital personnel, that includes an emphasis and focus on nurse training and orientation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Demonstrated competency and knowledge of general nursing theory and practice required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- CPR/Handle With Care certification preferred.
- CPR Instructor certification through American Heart Association to be obtained within 4 months.
