We are seeking an RN Director of Emergency Services on Monday thru Friday in our Healthcare facility. We are looking for a decisive, critical-thinking RN leader to guide our team through these challenges while fostering the "family" atmosphere we are known for.

Requirements

• Current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement
• Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school
• Emergency Department nursing and proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department required
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
