About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in all settings using the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare providers. The RN is accountable for their professional development and for practicing within the scope of care defined by law. Using organizational resources, the RN advocates for patients and supports safe care, including delegation and participation in performance and practice improvement activities. Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduates entering as new graduate nurses must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as determined by unit scope of practice.
• Nurses returning to acute care after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred and must be completed within five years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous labor and delivery experience is strongly preferred.
• Current C-EFM certification is preferred; it will be required within two years or based on previous experience.
