About The Position

Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Provides care, treatment and services through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include assessment, planning care, providing care, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Commits to working a minimum of 16 hours over two (2) shifts per 4 week schedule. Also works 1 day before or after a major summer or winter holiday.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse
• Depending on department Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
• Per diem including on call and weekends
• ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• RN-Registered Nurse - Board of Registration in Nursing (Massachusetts)
