About The Position

Cath Lab RN assignment at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. RN must have strong diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab experience including heart caths, cardiac stents, pacemakers, ICDs, peripheral vascular procedures, and moderate sedation. Unit handles STEMI, arrhythmias, kidney and carotid blockages. Equipment includes Alaris pumps, FFR, angiojet, PV atherectomy, crash carts, and defibrillators. Heavy call coverage required during nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Strong diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with heart caths, cardiac stents, pacemakers, ICDs, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Experience with moderate sedation.
• Experience handling STEMI, arrhythmias, kidney and carotid blockages.
• Proficiency with Alaris pumps, FFR, angiojet, PV atherectomy, crash carts, and defibrillators.
• Ability to provide heavy call coverage during nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures.
• Assist with heart caths, cardiac stents, pacemakers, ICDs, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation.
• Respond to STEMI, arrhythmias, kidney and carotid blockages.
• Operate Alaris pumps, FFR, angiojet, PV atherectomy, crash carts, and defibrillators.
• Provide heavy call coverage during nights and weekends.
