About The Position

Registered Nurses at BMC Brighton provide comprehensive nursing care focused on supporting the total person and promoting adaptation. This is achieved through counseling, teaching, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The Staff Nurse delivers patient care in alignment with the Nursing Division's philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
Two years of experience as a registered nurse in cardiology procedural areas or Two years of experience as a critical care nurse.
Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
BLS Certification Required
Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required
Able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language.
Able to complete mathematical computations required to administer medications and treatment protocols.
Able to input information into clinical computer systems (Data Entry).

Utilizing current research in area of clinical practice.
Complying with patient safety goals as set forth by the Medical Center.
