Requirements
- Current NYS RN license
- One plus experience in acute care nursing.
Nice To Haves
- ASN, BSN preferred
- Cath lab and/or ICU experience preferred
- May consider RN’s with procedural experience in Interventional radiology.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the needs of each patient to which he or she is assigned
- Planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs, including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs.
- Seeing that the plan of care is carried out through performance and or leadership of supervised personnel and that the plan of care is evaluated
- Directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered
- Modifying and delivering care that is specific to the age, growth and development of patients according to the unit scope of services
- When serving in the charge role, he or she is responsible for clinical and leadership functions.
- Assessing the needs of each patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those need
