About The Position

St. Peter’s Health Partners is hiring full-time Phlebotomists to support its outpatient Patient Service Centers throughout the Capital District. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior phlebotomy experience or certification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care and positive patient experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to remain flexible, think critically, and work independently in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections accurately, efficiently, and compassionately.
Label, handle, and prepare specimens for transport and processing.
Provide timely and accurate laboratory information and support to clinical providers as needed.
Coordinate and dispatch courier services for specimen transport between locations.
Assist with administrative duties, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
Support laboratory operations by performing additional tasks and duties as assigned.
