About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

This position is with Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), in the KER - Hospice cost center. It is a regular employee role scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift. Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or a recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
