The ICU/CVICU Transitional Bridge Program at George Washington University Hospital is offering an opportunity for an exclusive opportunity to transition into our high-acuity ICU and CVICU units ahead of schedule! This program is designed for experienced acute care RNs ready to take the leap into critical care. It offers structured, immersive training tailored for acute care nurses stepping into critical care, with hands-on learning and mentorship from skilled critical care nurses and physicians. Participants will gain exposure to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced academic medical center and benefit from competitive pay and benefits in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Upon program completion, there is immediate career advancement into our ICU or CVICU units. GW Hospital's ICU Units include the Medical ICU (MICU) for high-complexity patients, the Surgical ICU (SICU) specializing in trauma, neuro, and post-operative intensive care, and the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) for advanced cardiac support including open-heart surgery recovery and ECMO therapy.
