About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to support quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• No experience is required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• One year of hospital nursing experience is preferred for PRN positions.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable; specialty-specific certifications and deadlines are outlined in the job posting.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• One year of hospital experience for PRN positions.
• Dialysis: Certified Dialysis Certificate (CDN).
