About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible; no experience is required.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• One year of experience in a hospital setting for PRN positions.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable, as specified in the addendum.
