About The Position

Our Ontario & Atlantic offices are seeking undergraduate students to join the team Full-Time in Winter 2027 or Fall 2027 as a part of our Risk Services, Technology Risk Services practice. This role is open to both those who are pursuing a CPA and those who are not. CPA PER requirements can be met through Technology Risk Services projects and engagements. Today's organizations – whether businesses, public sector entities or not-for-profit organizations – are heavily and increasingly reliant on information technology (IT) and other computer-based technologies to gain and maintain strategic advantage, and to achieve and sustain operational efficiency and effectiveness. Similarly, they are increasingly reliant on not just internal resources, but also on third parties to successfully select, design, implement, and maintain these technologies and technology-enabled processes, services and solutions. KPMG's Technology Risk Services help our clients achieve these goals successfully. You'll be part of a team that brings technology risk awareness to the boardroom while helping clients ensure their technology selection supports their strategy and operations – safely, securely and consistently.

Requirements

  • University student with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience (we welcome students pursuing a CPA and those who are not).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve personal and professional success while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly motivated student who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrate intellectual curiosity through coursework, projects, or extracurricular involvement.

  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools or analytics platforms is considered an asset, along with comfort in leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, generate insights, or support problem‑solving, and a demonstrated interest in how these technologies can be applied in professional settings.
