Requirements

Minimum of High School education; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role, preferably in the hospitality or insurance industries
Highly proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to self-direct and self-pace.
Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Assess incident reports to determine necessary follow-up tasks.
Work with properties to secure viable back-up documentation and report claims to the insurance company when needed.
Work with insurance adjusters to provide requested documentation and answer any claim-related questions.
Follow claims through from beginning to end.
Maintain input and data quality of risk management systems.
Identify and analyze areas of potential risk and develop, implement and maintain systems and processes to mitigate these risks.
Ensure compliance with risk-related processes already in place.
Conduct employee training, including web-based lectures, demonstrations, coordinating hands-on instruction and self-guided learning via video training modules.
Other duties as assigned.
