Risk Management Intern
About The Position
MSIG USA is seeking a motivated Risk Management Intern to join its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. The role provides hands-on experience in operational risk, business continuity, and analytical frameworks used across the insurance industry. The intern will learn how a large corporate organization identifies, measures, and manages risk, with practical exposure to risk assessment, scenario planning, and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) development. The program runs from June 7, 2026, to August 13, 2027. It includes a three-day induction from June 7 to June 9, 2027, in Warren, New Jersey. The hybrid schedule requires at least four days in the office per week. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Clear communication and strong collaboration abilities.
- Interest in risk management, insurance, or business operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with guidance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate execution of the mid-year enterprise risk assessment, including data gathering, meeting support, and documentation.
- Work with risk owners to develop new Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and improve ongoing risk monitoring.
- Lead revision and updating of a realistic disaster scenario, incorporating new insights and emerging risks.
- Support risk analysis, reporting, and collaboration across teams.
