About The Position

As an insider risk professional, you’ll use your analysis experience and attention to detail to develop recommendations and reports to give your team the actionable risk indicators and context they need. As an insider risk professional on our team, you’ll help your team understand trends and activities you discovered through various tools. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including user activity monitoring, user behavior analytics, and data collection tools. You’ll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for internal teams. As the authority on your tools, your team members will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analysis, supporting insider risk, intelligence, law enforcement, or fraud detection
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing user activity monitoring tools, data loss prevention tools, case management systems, and platforms that search, analyze, and visualize data
  • 3+ years of experience translating organizational security requirements into technical, actionable rules and policies that define, monitor, and restrict user behavior to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Ability to work independently while working within a team and driving toward a common goal
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, escalate conflicts and concerns to the management team, and work on several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think critically, analyze, and actively listen to effectively problem-solve
  • Ability to interact and network effectively at all levels, including senior leadership, both internal and on the client site
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security, including information, personnel, physical, and insider risk management in the DoD
  • Experience with requirements analysis, gap analysis, strategic planning, roadmap development, training, processes and procedures, business process reengineering, organizational development, strategic communications, and risk management
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent research, data gathering, and analytical skills
