Risk Analyst

The role is for a Risk Analyst at Xendit, a payment infrastructure provider in Southeast Asia. The analyst will be part of the team that mitigates fraud on Xendit's network, working closely with risk product to develop new solutions and data scientists to develop new transaction monitoring rules. The responsibilities include detecting, preventing, and investigating fraudulent behavior, monitoring risk metrics and controls, providing regional dashboards and portfolio management overviews, and working with compliance, product managers, operations, and data teams to implement new initiatives. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience, is detail-oriented, organized, and has good stakeholder management skills, and is a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

• Work as part of the Regional Risk Management team to detect, prevent and investigate fraudulent behaviour.
• In coordination with the regional team, provide assistance to monitor risk metrics and controls for the merchant risk engine.
• Take a lead role in risk projects to provide roadmaps, project process flows and dashboard reporting while liaising with other internal stakeholders.
• Provide regional dashboards and portfolio management overviews by assessing and formulating data into visualisation for senior management review.
• Work closely with compliance, product managers, operations and data teams to ideate and implement new initiatives
• Work closely with compliance in order to ensure that Xendit’s processes and reporting are compliant with regulatory requirements.

• Have 1 - 3 years of experience in startups, consulting, banking, FMCG, etc.
• Detail-oriented, organized and have good stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience on ecommerce or financial services would be an advantage.
• Have the ability to conduct self-data reporting with good analytical skills.
