The Rigger uses mechanical and power tools to install and connect motors and accessories on boats or ATVs as per factory specifications or as specified on work orders. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The Rigger will rig boat packages per factory specifications and as specified on work orders. They will notify the Service Manager of any issues with manufacturer-received units, problems requiring additional work, or customer requests that may not be possible or could cause a safety issue. The Rigger must work efficiently to maintain service schedules, prepare loose motors or trailers for customer delivery, and test each unit for proper and safe operation using established marine service procedures. They will follow work order procedures for parts, labor, and paperwork, including requests for parts or labor not listed on the work order. Additionally, the Rigger will compile warranty packages, complete rigging checklists, assist with the inspection process, and install optional equipment and/or accessories as per customer requests. Maintaining a clean and professional work area is also a key responsibility.
