About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide programmatic leadership, content area expertise, consultation, and implementation support for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Quality initiative under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). RHTP is a five-year federal grant awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes in rural communities. This role provides programmatic leadership to develop, execute, and continuously improve a North Carolina CCBHC Model, developing a statewide service model ensuring that NC CCBHCs are consistent statewide and meet their mission of providing comprehensive community-based behavioral health care, particularly in rural and underserved areas. The position, in partnership with external and internal partners, will lead the development and implementation of a Quality Assurance structure and process for CCBHCs statewide.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in a closely related program OR Bachelor's degree in the area of assignment field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of experience in a closely related program OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with quality improvement frameworks with the ability to partner to build data and reporting structures and use data to inform program improvements and decision-making
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster stakeholder relationships, build buy-in and feasibility as well as identifying and addressing implementation barriers
