About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our staff. The clinic is fully supported with skilled nursing, including dedicated infusion nurses and a nurse coordinator for triage. Office staff provide substantial patient support assistance, including 100% support for prior authorizations. Join an established group of 2 Rheumatologists. A wide variety of diseases are represented among the patient population. There are teaching opportunities working directly with house staff and medical students. Support for clinical research is available, including nursing, statisticians, and people expert in study design. There is limited call and minimal travel. Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Completion of an accredited USA Rheumatology Fellowship
New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS Certification Required
DEA Required

Responsibilities

Provide rheumatology care within a fully supported clinic.
Work with skilled nursing staff, including dedicated infusion nurses and a nurse coordinator for triage.
Collaborate with office staff for patient support and prior authorizations.
Join an established group of 2 Rheumatologists.
Manage a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diseases.
Engage in teaching opportunities with house staff and medical students.
Participate in clinical research with available support.
Manage limited call duties and minimal travel.
