The RF Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and inspecting radio-frequency (RF) mechanical components and micro-assemblies using specialized tools and a microscope. This position requires excellent hand–eye coordination, strong visual acuity, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality, reliable RF products.

Requirements

  • Strong manual dexterity and fine-motor skills for precise mechanical assembly
  • Ability to clearly see and work with very small parts under a microscope
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive precision tasks
  • Visual acuity suited for detailed microscope work
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

  • Experience in RF assembly, micro-mechanical assembly, or electronics/mechanical manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Assemble RF mechanical components, housings, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Perform precision assembly of small parts using a microscope for extended periods
  • Inspect assemblies under a microscope to verify alignment, clearances, placement, and overall quality
  • Use hand tools, tweezers, torque tools, micro-fixtures, or bonding equipment for component assembly (no soldering involved)
  • Perform basic RF, mechanical, or continuity testing if required by the process
  • Maintain accurate production records, travelers, and documentation
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Collaborate with Lead and Supervisor to troubleshoot assembly issues
