About The Position

The Assembler assembles and tests products, troubleshoots and resolves issues, and supports continuous improvement using the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System. The role involves working with product components, tools, fixtures, equipment, and mechanical parts and assemblies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of assembly experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Candidate must supply steel-toed boots; all other required personal protective equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components across all product lines using the correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products and troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with product assembly and testing.
• Read blueprints and identify components.
• Use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, and operate equipment while dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
