About The Position

Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR), an engineering company based in Maryland, is hiring a full-time permanent Mechanical Assembler. The role performs quality mechanical assembly and repair of package handling machinery, including learning ATR legacy machines and carrying out upgrades and refurbishment. Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience with mechanical assembly and repair.
• High mechanical aptitude and curiosity.
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical hand tools.
• Demonstrated quality workmanship.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assembly of mechanical assemblies.
