About The Position

WR has a potential opportunity for an RF Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and evaluation of RF demonstrator and prototype systems for HF radar programs. The role supports RF test and evaluation equipment, field operations, system performance evaluation, design analysis, integration, and technical documentation. This position is contingent upon funding. The selected candidate must pass a pre-employment third-party background check, which may include verification of employment history, education or certifications, criminal history, driving records, and other information related to suitability for the position.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related scientific discipline.
Two or more years of professional experience in RF design, development, or deployment, or RF measurement, testing, and evaluation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the development, acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of RF test and evaluation equipment for HF radar projects.
Assist with the planning and execution of RF-related field operations.
Evaluate system performance and recommend design improvements to enhance functionality and resolve technical issues.
Use computer-aided engineering tools to support design, analysis, and testing activities.
Support integration efforts across hardware and software systems to ensure overall system performance.
Participate in reviews of design proposals, specifications, and technical documentation to assess feasibility and application.
Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test procedures, installation guides, and system reports.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support system development, testing, and deployment activities.
Provide support and guidance to junior personnel as needed.
