RF Engineer 6

Lam Research•Fremont, CA
•$166,000 - $350,000

About The Position

The RF Electrical Engineer designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, hardware systems, and electrical engineering applications. The role determines design approaches and parameters, analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. It selects components and equipment based on specifications and reliability analysis and assesses vendor capability to support product development. The engineer is primarily responsible for designing or selecting, testing, and documenting RF power delivery systems operating from 100 kHz to 100 MHz and at power levels from watts to kilowatts. The role performs electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation for electrical and electromechanical systems and subsystems. It collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams and suppliers on custom and OEM embedded system components, prepares and analyzes test plans and procedures, and presents findings at design, project, and program reviews. The position is in Lam Research’s Global Products Group, which designs and engineers etch and deposition products for the semiconductor industry. The role may follow one of Lam’s work-location models, but the specific model for this position is not stated.
