About The Position

CPI Security is seeking a driven and customer-focused Revenue Recovery Representative to join its team at the company’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role focuses on reducing delinquency while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, high-energy, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The representative manages collection efforts, communicates with customers about overdue payments and payment arrangements, documents collection activity, and performs related account and mailing tasks. The position’s schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Sunday and Monday off. Annual earnings range from $42,000 to $52,000.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 2 years of B2C and “soft” collections experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage collection efforts with persuasiveness and professionalism.
Contact customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and review sales, service, or credit contract terms.
Place accounts on hold for incoming orders until payment is received.
Document daily collections activity, including emails and inbound and outbound phone calls.
Place outbound calls to delinquent customers to collect past-due billing.
Receive inbound calls from customers making payments or arranging payments.
Print, fold, and mail dunning letters to delinquent customers.
Audit the cancel reason report monthly.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
