Revenue Operations Lead

Loop•San Francisco, CA
•$150,000 - $180,000•Onsite

About The Position

Loop is hiring a Revenue Operations Lead to own and scale parts of its revenue engine across revenue process design, deal desk and commercial structuring, forecasting and planning, revenue systems and data integrity, and go-to-market enablement. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Operations. The team will align the lead’s initial scope with their strengths and business priorities, with opportunities to take on more ownership as the company scales. This is a high-trust, low-oversight role focused on outcomes such as shorter deal cycles, healthier margins, reliable forecasts, and faster sales representative ramp times. The role combines building new processes and systems from the ground up with improving and scaling existing ones. The lead will work through increasing go-to-market complexity, including multi-entity customers, custom payment terms, enterprise contract redlines, renewals, and expansions. They will identify priorities, deliver solutions, and create scalable guardrails. The position is based in San Francisco and requires working in the office at least four days per week, with travel of up to 5% for sales kickoffs and team offsites.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, or BizOps at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience building deal properties, approval workflows, pipelines, and quote templates.
  • Ability to build trusted forecast, capacity, and pipeline models.
  • Ability to read MSAs and order forms, identify non-standard terms, and know when to involve Legal.
  • Experience taking a process, model, or system from 0 to 1 and then hardening and scaling it from 1 to 10, with concrete examples.
  • Strong ownership, execution, prioritization, and business judgment in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to identify revenue or margin leakage in pipelines, deals, or processes and explain findings clearly to sales representatives and executives.
  • Ability to consider downstream impacts and scalability when designing policies and processes.
  • Ability to make commercial tradeoffs involving margin, speed, and deal size in collaboration with Finance and General Counsel.
  • Willingness and ability to work in person in San Francisco at least 4 days per week.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for sales kickoffs and team onsites.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in logistics technology or supply chain technology.
  • Experience scaling Revenue Operations through a Series B-D stage, from a handful of representatives to a few dozen.
  • Experience with usage-based, volume-tiered, or multi-entity pricing models.
  • Experience integrating commercial terms and customer books from acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Define the end-to-end sales cycle, including qualification, stage entry and exit criteria, and handoffs among Revenue Operations, Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Implementation, and Customer Success; enforce the process to reduce deal cycle time.
  • Create commercial guardrails, including an efficient path for standard deals and guidance on pricing exceptions, discounting, billing terms, and contract structures for non-standard deals; make tradeoffs with Finance and General Counsel.
  • Own pipeline coverage, stage conversion, win/loss analysis, quota and capacity models, territory and segment design, and ARR forecasting that includes churn and downsell; advise leadership on where sales investment will be most effective.
  • Build and maintain HubSpot and connected revenue systems, including field definitions, pipeline hygiene standards, and tool integrations, ensuring executive dashboard data is reliable.
  • Develop onboarding, playbooks, training, and tooling that reduce manual work and accelerate new-hire ramp.
  • Take ownership of urgent, ambiguous problems without an existing owner, deliver solutions, and systematize them so they do not depend on ongoing individual intervention.
  • Participate in deal reviews, forecast calls, and planning sessions across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance; identify risks early and bring recommendations and plans.
  • Design and launch new revenue processes and models, such as stage-exit frameworks, capacity and territory models, and approval paths for non-standard deals, then improve and scale them.
