Revenue Operations & GTM Systems Lead

Threecolts•Detroit, MI

About The Position

Threecolts is hiring a Revenue Operations & GTM Systems Lead to build and maintain the Salesforce architecture and commercial systems that support its evolving go-to-market strategy. The role owns CRM architecture and automation across the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, partner attribution, contracting, expansion, and renewals. It partners with DataOps to bring product-usage and financial data from Threecolts Hub, Sage, and Stripe into Salesforce reliably, with synchronized schemas and mappings. The role leads technical scoping, development, testing, and deployment of cross-functional initiatives for Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Operations. It works with commercial teams to improve lead management, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and lifecycle processes, while maintaining data quality, governance, documentation, and dependable deployment workflows. The position also audits the commercial technology stack, identifies cost savings, manages vendor migrations, and contributes to operational planning and systems architecture roadmaps. The successful candidate brings advanced hands-on Salesforce development or administration experience, commercial and Revenue Operations understanding, strong relational data and automation skills, and the ability to independently turn ambiguous business needs into scalable technical designs. The role is suited to someone comfortable working in a high-growth build phase and coordinating CRM changes with DataOps and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development or advanced administration experience beyond basic setup and maintenance.
  • Experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Systems, with a strong understanding of commercial teams and revenue performance.
  • Ability to understand pipeline management, forecasting, lead conversion, and renewals and translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies, challenge stakeholder requirements, and recommend improvements based on business impact.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional builds end to end, from scoping through build.
  • Track record designing scalable data models and modern workflow automations in complex enterprise CRM environments.
  • Ability to independently translate ambiguous business models or rapid process changes into technical designs with operational and business leaders.
  • Understanding of relational database structures and event-based tracking, including coordination of schema changes with DataOps before deployment.
  • Comfort with technology, systems, and tools, and ongoing interest in developments across Salesforce, AI, and related technologies.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scaleup build phase and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Mastery of relational database design, custom object schemas, complex validation rules, field-level security, and Salesforce Governor limit management.
  • Experience using native enterprise-tier capabilities, including high governor limits, developer sandboxes, Einstein features/ECI, and advanced pipeline inspection, to consolidate technology and avoid unnecessary SaaS purchases.
  • Experience or rapid technical aptitude with Sweep for visual business logic modeling, automated routing, dependency tracking, and staging-to-production deployment.
  • Experience as an upstream recipient of data pipelines and ability to ingest and map product and financial data such as Stripe and Sage through webhooks, REST APIs, or middleware without breaking validation rules.
  • Track record of rip-and-replace, vendor consolidation, and cost-reduction projects across the revenue stack; skills in data archival, license optimization, and end-user cutover management.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with Slack for deal alerts, approval workflows, and representative notifications, and connecting data feeds across enrichment, marketing automation, and internal operational bots.
  • Advanced proficiency with SF Inspector, Data Loader, Workbench, and Google Sheets or Excel for mass data remediation, deduplication, and historical audits.

Responsibilities

  • Translate commercial strategies, workflows, and executive directives into scalable Salesforce architecture and automated flows.
  • Own CRM architecture, including custom objects, complex flows, and third-party integrations across the customer lifecycle.
  • Partner with DataOps to ingest, model, and maintain Salesforce data pipelines from Threecolts Hub, Sage, and Stripe, keeping schemas and field mappings synchronized.
  • Lead technical scoping, building, testing, and deployment for cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Operations.
  • Work with commercial teams to improve lead management, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and customer lifecycle processes.
  • Enforce operational hygiene, data validation rules, and system governance.
  • Maintain system documentation, technical change logs, and deployment workflows.
  • Audit the commercial technology stack, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and execute vendor migrations without disrupting representative workflows.
  • Contribute to planning, team process design, and systems architecture roadmaps; identify cross-functional bottlenecks and propose scalable operational solutions.
