About The Position

Responsible for supporting the AR Manager and supervising collections specialists to effectively collect outstanding balances due from third-party payers. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, able to express themselves professionally both verbally and in writing on a daily basis. This role requires a proactive professional who can identify collection trends and solve them in a timely manner. The position involves staying informed on all current Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor regulations and requirements, informing management and other staff members of changes, and keeping documentation current and accessible. The Supervisor will also manage, motivate, and supervise team members, and perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

Results oriented
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
At least 3 years of medical collections experience preferred
Able to develop and maintain good communication with and establish positive working relationships with staff, payers, peers and leadership
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to analyze claims to determine outstanding reimbursement due
Ability to organize work and manage change
