About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Billing Coordinator evaluates and manages revenue cycle operations to support effective, compliant billing and reimbursement. The role designs, executes, and implements billing procedures, oversees program development, and supports continuous improvement initiatives affecting a significant segment of the organization. It handles claims and payment-related work, audits accounts, analyzes financial data, and coordinates with insurers, third-party payers, and administrative staff. The position also provides training and guidance to staff and helps promote program growth and scalability. The role requires three years of relevant work experience and a high school diploma or GED. Payment posting and cash application reconciliation experience is required; Epic experience is preferred. The position is remote. Responsibilities

Assist with designing, planning, and implementing billing procedures and systems for new and existing services.
Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff involved in billing and revenue cycle functions.
Promote program growth and scalability to support organizational expansion.
Process claims, including payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and outstanding patient and insurer balances.
Serve as a point of contact among insurance providers, third-party payers, and administrative staff.
Evaluate financial data to identify, reconcile, and resolve trends that lead to incorrect or missing reimbursements.
Conduct comprehensive account audits and manage other complex tasks and projects.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the general scope of the role.
