About The Position

CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy, a mail service pharmacy in the Monroeville area, is hiring a full-time Cash Posting and Reconciliation Specialist Coordinator to resolve unapplied cash and ensure timely, accurate payment posting. Requirements

At least 1 year of healthcare, insurance, or banking-related experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to commute to the Monroeville, Pennsylvania office.
Verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Post payment exceptions from a worklist to the appropriate accounts receivable charges when payments cannot be matched through automation, resolving debit and credit balances.
Track and resolve forward-balance transactions according to payer-specific processes.
Post payments to patient and insurance balances using PDF remittance advices and check details received through the third-party banking system.
Review cash inquiries submitted by collections teams, update cash posting when necessary, and provide detailed written responses about the resolution.
Submit refund requests when needed.
Research and respond to unapplied-cash inquiries by telephone, online, and in writing to insurance companies and governmental payers.
