About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Revenue Cycle Associate to join the billing team. Under the supervision of the Billing Manager, this role helps ensure accurate patient billing, timely collections, and excellent patient service. The associate is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and accuracy while supporting the delivery of quality healthcare services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of insurance processing and patient financial responsibilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and compassionate approach.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently within deadlines.
Proficiency in billing software, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to billing.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher.
Prior experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare finance.

Responsibilities

Review patient billing records for accuracy and completeness.
Answer patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance processing, and financial responsibilities.
Process payments, adjustments, and refunds efficiently and accurately.
Initiate and follow up on collection efforts for overdue accounts.
Assist with accounts receivable management to optimize revenue collection.
Explain insurance processing procedures and patient financial obligations.
Resolve account discrepancies and establish approved payment arrangements.
Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate accounts and timely revenue collection.
Manage work queues, prioritize assignments, and adhere to departmental standards for patient billing.
