About The Position

This role involves verifying, allocating, and posting daily transaction details from various revenue and operational areas to computer files. The Revenue Auditor II will reconcile records, compile reports on financial statistics, and prepare audit exception notices for irregularities. This position also involves preparing daily revenue reports, making journal entries, and maintaining a positive and safe work environment. The role requires excellent guest service and professionalism, embodying the values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Class IIIA gaming license.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years to Four (4) years of revenue audit experience required.
  • Proficient acumen, skill, and knowledge of 10 audits required.
  • Continued proficiency of at least 10 audits for more than 12 consecutive months required.

Nice To Haves

  • AA or Technical degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Gaming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify, allocate, and post details of daily transactions to spreadsheet or computer files from documents received from revenue/operational areas, including cage, count room, VGD floor, table games, poker, misc. gaming, food & beverage, marketing programs, valet parking, lottery, retail etc.
  • Reconcile and balance tapes and records to daily cash counts and summarize details in computer files.
  • Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts, machine payouts, expenditures, and other items pertinent to the operation, in cooperation with Revenue Auditor III and Revenue Audit Manager.
  • Establish and maintain files of appropriate reports, records, or other information relevant to the department.
  • Prepare and distribute audit exception notices for irregularities and errors discovered during the audit on a timely basis.
  • Complete and forward daily revenue reports for all audited areas to supervisory staff for review and subsequent distribution on a timely basis.
  • Work productively and constructively with the team to ensure all audits are accurate and completed on time.
  • Prepare journal entries to record daily revenue and/or cashier activity as directed.
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
