About The Position

Reviews and accurately posts revenues and expenses pertaining to gaming and non-gaming audits. This role is responsible for verifying that all procedures are correctly performed in each gaming and non-gaming area that collects revenue. The Revenue Auditor must learn and be competent in all assigned audits, work with outside auditors and the internal audit department, and communicate effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives to maintain a productive and effective department operation. The position also involves safeguarding and accounting for the assets of the owners, complying with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission. Additionally, the Revenue Auditor will monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to ensure the safety of guests and co-workers, and work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computers, specifically Microsoft Excel, including formulas, and software applications, specifically CashTrac.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Cannot have an immediate family member, as defined in the team member handbook and/or other applicable policy, in any audited outlet or gaming department.
  • Must have good math, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Must have the ability to use a 10-key machine by touch.
  • Must be able to be timely and accurate with assignments and have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must be flexible with shift and days off.
  • Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.
  • Must be confidential.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • This position has signatory authority for audit sheets and exception sheets.
  • Keeps back-up paperwork organized and up-to-date.
  • Send required information and reports to appropriate individuals on a timely basis.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
