About The Position

Purcell Tire is hiring a full-time Retread Technician to produce high-quality retreads and provide value through assigned retreading work. The technician performs job assignments according to company specifications, standards, and time frames. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role includes paid training and development, and compensation is $20 per hour with experience, plus a monthly production bonus.

Requirements

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Inspect tires to be retreaded or repaired.
Work at plant stations to repair and/or retread tires according to specifications.
Safely operate plant equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, and cure tires.
Safely trim, paint, and tag finished tires.
Perform final tire repair inspections and place finished tires in stock.
Complete work orders, ensuring work and identification are correct.
Maintain equipment in good operating condition.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols.
Protect company assets, including inventory, receivables, equipment, and real estate.
Identify opportunities to improve products and services.
Commit to continual improvement, training, and professional growth.
Perform other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management.
