About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Retread Associate to help revitalize commercial truck tires using Michelin Retread methods. The role includes Initial and CIA Inspection, De-Enveloping, and painting. Associates may learn and work at multiple posts throughout a commercial retread and/or TRACS facility, with opportunities for advancement as they develop additional skills. Progression may involve increased responsibilities, training, and certification requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Safety-conscious approach to work.
Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Coachable, hardworking, with general mechanical aptitude.
Strong time-management skills and close attention to detail.
Reliable and dependable, with self-initiative.
Ability to complete assigned tasks properly with little to no follow-up.

Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer and/or smartphone skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
Commercial TIA certification.

Responsibilities

Perform Initial and CIA Inspection, De-Enveloping, and painting processes for commercial truck tires.
Learn and work at retread plant posts, which may include CIA Inspection, Filler, De-Envelope, Skive, Painter, Initial Inspection, Chamber, Envelope Repair, X-Ray, Buffer, Final Inspection, Cure, Tire Builder, and Shipping/Receiving.
Learn to operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
Work a rotating, on-call schedule, including nights and weekend shifts.
