About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced Retread Associate to inspect, buff, and retread tires to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The role also includes assisting with inventory management, maintaining equipment, keeping accurate production and inspection records, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Candidates should have previous experience in a tire retread facility and a solid understanding of the retread process and equipment. The company is open to training a candidate who demonstrates mechanical aptitude, drive, and commitment to succeed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a tire retread facility.
• Solid understanding of the retread process and equipment.
• General mechanical aptitude and close attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality and safe work practices.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to follow established instructions and procedures.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet production expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, hardworking, and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for damage and assess whether they are suitable for retreading.
• Buff tires to remove old tread and prepare them for retreading.
• Apply new treads to tires using retreading equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking tire quantities and types.
• Ensure retreaded tires meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Maintain equipment.
