About The Position

WEAVE's mission is to promote safe and healthy relationships and support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and sex trafficking. WEAVE’s vision is that when everyone acts, violence ends. The Retail Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing the volunteer program at WEAVE’s various thrift store locations, which represents the majority of the agency’s volunteer engagement and plays a critical role in supporting revenue generation. In addition, the position supports general thrift operations including serving as a key holder, processing donations and providing customer service to shoppers, donors and clients as directed. This position focuses exclusively on retail volunteers and does not oversee agency-wide volunteer engagement or fundraising events. Instead, it ensures that the retail operation is consistently staffed with trained, supported, and engaged volunteers who contribute meaningfully to store operations. The Retail Volunteer Coordinator works in close partnership with the Retail General Manager and store team to align volunteer efforts with daily operational needs, while also collaborating with the philanthropy and communication departments on recruitment strategies, communications to volunteers, and overall volunteer pipeline development. Success in this role is measured by consistent volunteer coverage, strong volunteer retention, positive volunteer experience, and alignment with retail operations goals.
