About The Position

American Home Design is seeking an Event Manager to lead our face-to-face events program. This role is primarily focused on identifying local events, managing and developing a team of promoters to generate leads, and supporting our Home Depot lead generation program. The ideal candidate is energetic, a strong coach, and willing to actively participate in lead generation. Experience in retail or sales management, along with sales and lead generation, is preferred. Excellent communication, recruitment, and motivational skills are essential, as is a willingness to work weekends.

  • Marketing & lead generation experience

  • Willingness to work on the weekends

  • Home Improvement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow leads from local events and shows in Middle TN.
  • Interview, train, hire, and motivate promoters who work at events.
  • Manage promoters, holding them accountable to hourly expectations for appointments set.
  • Provide follow-up coaching to promoters as needed.
  • Perform local travel for events.
  • Set up and tear down event displays.
  • Manage sales and marketing reports to track progress towards goals.
  • Support the Home Depot lead generation program.
