About The Position

Runnings is hiring a Store Manager to lead its retail location in Watford City, North Dakota, which has more than 21,000 square feet of retail space. The manager will lead a high-performing team, deliver strong customer experiences, and oversee store operations in a fast-paced environment. The role calls for prior retail management and leadership experience, along with the ability to work an irregular schedule.

The Store Manager will develop and motivate team members, drive financial results, recruit and train talent, maintain safety and loss-prevention standards, and ensure the store and property are well-maintained. The manager will also coordinate with store leaders, company teams, and Retail Buyers to meet business goals, product needs, and merchandising standards.

Runnings is a family-owned retailer with 90 stores in 12 states and more than 3,500 employees. The company has served the upper Midwest and Northeast for over 75 years and is headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail or hospitality management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build strong relationships with team members and peers.
• Ability to motivate and guide a diverse team toward shared goals.
• Sound judgment and data-driven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
