About The Position

The Lead Regional Technician leads a team responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Certarus equipment at CNG filling stations and customer sites. The role supports CNG delivery operations and provides technical assistance to the company and its customers. It reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager. The position involves daily travel between Certarus sites in the region, with potential travel outside the assigned region. A set shift schedule allows the employee to return home each day or night.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a technician field role.
Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
Experience with gas processing equipment, including production, field gas, or gas compression.
Positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Associate of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
CDL driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Monitor overall plant and fleet operations in the region and contribute to a safe working environment.
Oversee and mentor the regional technicians.
Ensure equipment and parts inventory is current and accurate.
Provide mechanical and technical services for process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
Set up and break down pressure reduction equipment at customer locations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as designated.
