About The Position

Vuori is seeking a Retail Store Floor Lead to guide the retail sales team by example, build customer connections, and communicate the brand’s values through product knowledge and an optimistic approach. The Floor Lead helps the team uphold standards for retail sales and customer experiences and serves as a key member of the store leadership team, supervising the retail floor, taking initiative, delegating work, and acting as a go-to person. Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Floor Lead assists with leadership duties and works directly with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The role includes leading day-to-day store operations when those managers are not present, supporting sales goals, maintaining the store and visual merchandising, and helping ensure a smooth and successful business.

Requirements

Availability for morning and/or evening shifts of 8 hours, 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
Strong punctuality and attendance, with adherence to scheduled shifts.
Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
Customer-service expertise, including the ability to create positive experiences, build relationships, and proactively handle customer concerns.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Work with the sales team to ensure customers receive the best possible experience and make the sales floor and customer experience the first priority.
Prepare fitting rooms, find customer sizes, and provide knowledgeable, honest feedback about merchandise style and fit.
Build customer relationships by sharing product details, new arrivals, and replenishment information, and inviting customers to events.
Stay informed about new and popular products and share product knowledge with customers and the team.
Lead day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
Motivate the sales team and work toward sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge in the broader fashion and activewear landscape.
Lead team projects while keeping customer experience as the focus.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Work with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management.
Lead daily store maintenance, including restocking, maintaining visual merchandising, and cleaning.
Follow protocols and safety standards while opening and closing the store.
Encourage employees, under the Retail Store Manager’s guidance, to give their best effort and meet punctuality and role-responsibility expectations.
