Retail Store Environment Team Member-2
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store and finding what they need. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes, participating in truck unloads and stocking, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
- Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities
- Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
- Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
- Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
- Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
- Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
- Execute cash handling to standards.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
- Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Execute Company policies and standards.
