About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The Team Member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and handle trash and floor cleaning according to approved procedures. This includes moving equipment and products for cleaning, mixing cleaning solutions, and deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms and breakrooms. The position requires keeping cleaning equipment orderly, notifying supervisors of supply needs, and taking initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. The Team Member will also perform assigned tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines, and maintain positive interactions with team members and customers. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads and stocking, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Execute Company policies and standards.
