The Store Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping, and collecting and disposing of trash. The team member will dust and damp mop floors, move equipment and products for proper cleaning, and clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment. This may include mixing cleaning solutions. The role also involves deep cleaning key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The team member must maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisors of supply needs, and take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. All tasks must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Additionally, the role requires maintaining positive and respectful interactions, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model. Other duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in Rewards program benefits and credit card enrollments, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is essential for compliance with laws and requirements.
