About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and ensure the store is clean and safe for both customers and staff. This includes tasks like collecting and disposing of trash, mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and deep cleaning specific areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms. The position also involves maintaining cleaning equipment, notifying supervisors of supply needs, and taking initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. Team members are expected to perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines and maintain positive interactions with colleagues and customers. Additional duties may include providing checkout services, promoting loyalty programs, assisting with online order fulfillment (BOPIS, SFS), participating in stocking and merchandising, and supporting safety and loss prevention programs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
  • Notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
  • Execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
