About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The Team Member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure the store is well-maintained. This includes tasks such as collecting and disposing of trash, cleaning floors, moving equipment and products, and deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms and breakrooms. The position also involves maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor with team members and customers, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
  • Execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
