The Retail Store Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to ensure a positive customer experience aligned with the company's Brand Promises. Key duties involve delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and managing waste disposal. The role requires thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including deep cleaning of high-traffic zones like bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways, using specified materials and equipment. The Team Member must keep cleaning equipment organized, proactively identify areas needing attention, and notify the supervisor of supply needs. Additionally, the position involves completing all assigned tasks in compliance with federal, state, and county guidelines, and maintaining positive interactions with both team members and customers. Other duties may include providing fast checkout service, handling cash, engaging customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store), participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram execution, and supporting shrink and safety programs while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies.
