The Retail Store Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to uphold the company's Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and performing various cleaning tasks such as trash disposal, floor cleaning (dusting and mopping), and deep cleaning of key areas like bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic zones to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff. The team member must keep cleaning equipment organized, proactively notify supervisors of supply needs, and take initiative to clean areas as required. All tasks must be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Additionally, the role requires maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model. Other duties may include providing fast and friendly checkout experiences, handling cash, engaging customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store), participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies.
