About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The Team Member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store, and help them find what they are looking for. Duties include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. This may involve mixing cleaning solutions. The role also includes deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms and breakrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The Team Member must keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs. They should proactively identify and complete cleaning tasks and follow all assigned duties and guidelines. Maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model are essential. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting and enrolling customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
